Hashim Mills from Brownsville, Brooklyn. He is a founding member of the

internationally known duo/band Rise and Shine and have recorded and

performed alongside some great musicians and artist. Artist such as DJ

Premier, Jay-Z, Kurupt, Kayne, DJ Khalil, Mos Def, Les Nubians, Kool G

Rap, Black Eyed Peas, Erykah Badu, Common, Souls of Mischief, Orko,

Levelz, Sonnie Carson and more.

Growing up in Brooklyn has inspired him tremendously and

instilled him with a hunger for knowledge that is quenched only by

traveling and connecting with people from and all over the world. Skilled

in Literature, Art, Painting, Production and Photography. 

His creativity in other forms than his music is something

that does come out in his poetic lyrics and moves the listeners with his

warm voice.
